Cylinder Vacuum Cleaners

These are barrel or cylinder shaped and will have a hose followed by a rigid tube with a brush attachment on it's end. The cylinder cleaner will be pulled along by the hose as you clean. Normally a variety of cleaning tool attachments will be stored on the machine and the electric cable will be stored in the cleaner and rewound at the touch of a button on the cylinder. The hose and brush attachments make cleaning stair carpets, confined spaces, or under furniture, easier then trying to use an upright cleaner. Some models will also come with a motorised brush which will then act in a similar manner to the upright vacuum cleaner i.e. rotating brushes in the tool head will lift dust from the carpet which is then sucked up.
